Introduction:
Heyo! I'm Jay, an artist and animator from Ireland with a fascination for the little, the strange, and the beautiful wildlife in our world. My goal as an artist is to awaken curiosity within others, to learn and conquer any fears or misconceptions towards Earth's most abundant and diverse animal group: insects.
As a cartoonist, I love to bring out the most loving features out of any bug; the soft fluff on bees, the beautiful iridescence on beetles, the captivating patterns on a moth's wings, and the strange beauty of their many shapes and sizes.
If there is one place where you'd like to learn about and overcome fears, this is where you'll find it. Most of my art depicts real bugs in a sweet style that makes it hard to look away, and with this basis I have built a small but loving shop with a big heart for the critters that are so often overlooked.
