Acrylic Printing & White Ink Layer
Simply put, UV printing uses UV curable ink. The ink is transferred onto the material surface by professional printing equipment, then instantly cured under UV ultraviolet light to complete the high-end digital printing process. This is why you can see the machine glowing in our printing videos. Unlike traditional spray printing, it requires no waiting for solvent evaporation and achieves instant printing and instant drying.
This printing method features vibrant colors, thick ink layers, strong adhesion, and consistent printing quality.
White Ink Layer
We adopt CMYK printing. That is to say, all printed colors are blended from these four inks. Off-white and pure white tones cannot be produced by mixing CMYK colors alone, so white ink has to be used separately.
White ink does not only produce a pure white finish in printing. More often, it is used to cover the underlying base colors or patterns, optimize the overall color performance of the printed image, and prevent underlying hues and designs from showing through the top printed layer. At the same time, it keeps the printed area from being translucent, ensuring accurate and clear printing results.
For glitter badges and stickers areas without a white ink layer will show through the color of the material (excluding laminated badges and stickers), as shown in the figure:
The white ink layer can also be adjusted in transparency. Different transparency levels allow the glitter base to show through to varying degrees.
Our default setting is a 100% solid white ink layer for all printed design areas. If your artwork includes semi‑transparent elements, we will adjust the transparency of the white ink layer accordingly.
