If my design has text and I only upload one file, will the back text be reversed?

Many customers have this question: "If there is text in the file I upload, and I only upload one file while choosing a double-sided same design for the acrylic keychain, will the text on the back be normal (readable) or reversed?"

It actually depends on the design you uploaded.

If your design is fully symmetrical—meaning its shape is identical when mirrored, we will print the exact same design on both sides, i.e., directly copy the front design to the back, so both sides are readable.

If your design’s outline does not align perfectly when mirrored, then we simply divide it into two cases: one where text and graphics are not layered, and one where text and graphics are layered.
Case One: Text and graphics are not layered
In this case, if your background is a solid color, we can extract the text to make the back design readable. If there is any other texture or design behind the text, we cannot extract the text to make it readable on the back, as we are unable to separate your text from the background.

Case Two: Text and graphics are layered
In this case, if your text is outside the main design (meaning the overall outline includes the text), the mirrored outline will not perfectly match the front, so we cannot adjust the back text to be readable.If your text is inside the main design (meaning the overall shape does not include the text outline), we will separately adjust the text layer on the back so it is readable.

Our design team will do our best to make the text on the back readable. However, if we encounter a situation where the back text cannot be made readable, we will contact you promptly to ask for your input!
